Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B The Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B CPU cooler features compact dimensions and is designed for maximum compatibility. The overall height of only 154 mm and the asymmetrical design of the heat sink for maximum memory and graphics card compatibility form a convincing overall concept for installation in almost any standard housing. Four nickel-plated 6 mm copper heatpipes and an embossed top plate ensure an attractive and high-quality look. A new Kaze Flex II PWM fan is used for active cooling. In addition to a design change, the Kaze Flex II 120 PWM fan has an extended control range of 300 to 1,500 rpm. This enables higher cooling performance, while an adapted fan frame ensures increased air flow. A closed fluid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) and rubberized decouplers enable smooth operation with an average service life of 120,000 hours. In the current revision, the user-friendly H.P.M.S IV mounting system offers full compatibility with Intel’s LGA1700 and AMD’s AM5 sockets. Kaze Flex II 120 PWM Fan The Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B is equipped with a new Kaze Flex II PWM fan featuring an increased control range of 300 to 1500 RPM. The self-contained liquid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB) reduces friction and wear to a minimum with the help of a special oil film and ensures a high level of stability and an average lifespan of 120,000 hours. Rubberized pads have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of any vibrations. Asymmetrical and low height design Aiming for maximum compatibility the heatsink is not centered above the baseplate, but slightly offset to the side and back. This assymetrical design allows for unrestricted use of all memory slots. It also points the heatsink away from the graphics card, leaving enough space for even the bulkiest GPU coolers. With a compact height of only 154 mm the Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B easily fits all standard PC Cases. Hyper Precision Mounting System IV The Kotetsu Mark II Rev. B CPU Cooler uses the updated H.P.M.S IV mounting system which offers full LGA 1700 and AM5 compatibility. A pre-assembled mounting bar with spring-loaded screws ensures balanced pressure distribution. During the installation process, the universal backplate is securely fixed to the mainboard by rubberized spacers, making the process considerably easier.
